Five-Year Deal Agreed for English Midfielder

Oliver Skipp, the 22-year-old English midfielder, has signed for Leicester City from Tottenham Hotspur. The move, which was reported by The Athletic on Sunday, sees Skipp join Leicester on a five-year deal.

Skipp, who came through the youth ranks at Tottenham, has been a regular member of the first-team squad in recent seasons. He made 40 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring two goals.

The fee for the transfer is believed to be in the region of £20 million, with a further £5 million in add-ons. Skipp becomes Leicester's sixth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Alex Smithies, Wout Faes, Boubakary Soumaré, Mateusz Lis, and Daniel Iversen.

Skipp is an England U21 international and has been capped six times at that level. He is seen as a promising young player with a bright future in the game.
